The food selection is excellent, and the staff attentive. The buffet is best at dinner, and expect to wait on the weekends if you arrive after 6pm. Everyone is greeted at the door, and at all other times when interacting with an employee. The service level of employees there is exceptional, and they make one feel welcome. That said, the casino is very New Orleans themed, and tastefully done. During the bad times after the hurricane, although they closed for repairs, they kept their employees on the payroll for months. Additionally, they are the reason for the expansion of Fulton Street adjacent to Poydras.
They have brilliantly partnered with hotels, restaurants, and businesses in the CBD and French Quarter area. Harrah's is an exceptionally 'Class Act' in the City Of New Orleans. I've been going to New Orleans for years, in the past for work related issues, now as a tourist.
